Birthday greetings take a delightfully noisy turn in this whimsical watercolor style illustration featuring a band of musical cicadas performing in a recording studio. Four wonderfully detailed cicadas wearing oversized headphones gather around vintage microphones, with one playing an acoustic guitar and another an upright bass. In the foreground, a fifth cicada wearing headphones operates an elaborate sound mixing console filled with colorful knobs, switches, and illuminated meters. Framed records decorate the studio walls, while large speakers, recording equipment, and a sunlit window complete the charming scene. Soft washes of amber, olive green, warm brown, and muted blue create a nostalgic atmosphere. This humorous birthday card is perfect for musicians, music lovers, recording enthusiasts, and anyone who appreciates the famously loud serenades of cicadas.
