This card for the sign of Pisces (February 20-March 20) is adapted from my book The Alchymical Zoodiac: A Celestial Bestiary (Imaginarius Editions, 2003). My illustration of two fish for the sign of Pisces shows them engaged in an eternal game of cards, exercising their highly developed intuition as they anticipate the outcome. They are an amalgam of human and fish forms uniting the finite material consciousness of humanity with the infinite spiritual consciousness of the universe. Each of the fish sports the glyph for Pisces on its face. An detailed explanation of each sign and symbol can be found in the Artist's Notes section of the book.
