I needed appropriate sympathy cards for a veterans group that I am associated with. What is available in the retail shops are mostly not appropriate. Greeting card Universe has a vast and superior selection. I was able to find several appropriate cards.

Being able to put someones personal name in a card is so meaningful. This card was perfect for one of our doctors who served in a mission clinic for years. His family donated to the clinic in lieu of flowers and they loved the card which included our special memories of him.

I liked the card very much. I'm the historian for a WWII veterans group. Our 44 members are between 96 and 104 years of age and sadly they pass away. I like to have these cards on hand for their families for when that happens.

We lost a loved one and it's painful. But the pain heals a bit when you can share your thoughts and feelings with someone who went through it all with you. This is great for this purpose.
