The Jerusalem Cross, also known as the "Crusaders' Cross" has been associated with Jerusalem and dates to the last half of the 13th century. The symbolism of the five-fold cross is often identified with the 5 Wounds of Christ, Christ and the 4 evangelists, or Christ and the 4 quarters of the world. This emblem was also used by the Knights Templars. It is also a popular heraldic device and is often used in one's coat of arms and as a tattoo. This Cross of Jerusalem is in red and on a gray background with a "backlit" highlight. If you wish to have this design made in a different color, please contact the artist.
