| Artist Notes: | Retirement Fly Fishing Match shows a Blue Winged Olive mayfly which is painted in gouache and watercolor mediums. The avid fly fisherman will understand how to spend retirement. The retiree will spend countless hours on the stream while fishing and watching the mayflies hatch and swarm. Then picking the perfect fly to match the hatch, tying it on to the leader, and making the perfect cast. As the fly passes through the intended target area, a whisper of a disturbance and then the explosion, a fish is on! |
