Artist Notes:

A post-op laugh: the caregiver is a calm canine MD and the human wears the cone of shame. It's role reversal that softens the subject while keeping it supportive. Cool clinic blues set the recovery mood. Inked by hand and colored digitally in my Bolinger line-and-wash style. A Get Well card that says “heal up” without heavy medicine vibes.
