This design is inspired by the charming window displays of French patisseries and the joyful details I discovered during my travels. I love wandering through quaint streets, sketchbook in hand, capturing beautiful colours, floral arrangements, handwritten signs and sweet little cakes that make each place feel special. Back in my studio, these sketches become playful, layered illustrations filled with soft pastels, painterly textures and decorative details. For this granddaughter's 21st birthday design, I combined the warmth of fresh flowers, a celebration cake and elegant hand lettering to create a keepsake that feels both modern and timeless. Every element began as a page in my sketchbook, celebrating life's milestones with creativity, love and a touch of European flair.
