Artist Notes: Kwanzaa is celebrated for seven days and on the Fourth Day of Kwanzaa which is December 29th, Ujamaa is celebrated by the lighting of the 4th candle in the Kinara and is a day when family, friends and community gather to reinforce the importance of cooperating in projects to benefit financial future. This greeting has many hands raised as a symbol of cooperation and a neighborhood in the background as a way of incorporating the principle that Ujumaa begins at home. My thanks to K Whiteford for the use of her neighborhood outline and to Vecteezy for the wonderful hand vector.
