Chinese new year greeting (Gong Xi Fa Cai) and a wish to be blessed with wealth. This sketch shows three dumplings on a plate, with a pair of chopsticks and a little bowl of dipping sauce. Considered a lucky food and eaten during the new year, dumplings resemble Chinese silver ingots and symbolize wealth. Beside the dish is an angpow envelope (money gift) with a dragon motif and the Chinese character for luck. The character is also shown in the lower right corner, drawn in gold color and set in a translucent blue-pink frame. The character is written upside down to symbolize luck coming in. The background is a soft yellow color, and the borders are a patterned pink. This design is customizable for the year. All effects are digitally rendered.
