National Bear Day Observed on April 31st Wildlife in the Forest
|
|
Inside:
|
Bears are amazing creatures.
They help in seed dispersion,
the forest would be littered
with carcasses if not for them,
some are predators by nature
so they help to maintain the balance
of the ecosystem by reducing
the population of animals.
We should protect our bear population
at all costs to maintain a
balanced ecosystem.

Artist Notes:
|
National Bear Day is observed on April 31st. The brown bear is a very important disseminator of fruit seeds. It feeds mostly on plants, roaming large territories and thus scattering undigested plant seeds all over the place. Original design by Laurie Schneider, elements by Scrappin Doodles
