I wrote inside that, "Life sometimes causes us to question more and trust less. If we trust nothing else, trust that everything will be ok. Ok?"
This will encourage my friend, who has been through a series of hard times, to see the glass as overflowing with abundance rather than 1/2 empty.

I used this as a birthday card. I am an atheist and my boyfriend is Jewish. The use of the word 'shit' for both was right on! Very funny! And a card that brings forth laughter on one's birthday, is a gift in itself!
